Assos

There are just a few columns standing at Assos, from what was once a complete temple. But the location is spectacular: a hilltop with wonderful views all around, especially south across the sea to nearby Mitilene (Lesbos). Below the site is a small but historic village and down at the coast is a harbour with fish restaurants.
